ag贵宾厅guided campus tours are offered monday through friday at 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m. tours begin at the maguire welcome center, located in the lobby of the edward miner gallaudet memorial building (emg). each tour lasts approximately one hour. tours are conducted by student ambassadors in american sign language (asl), and voice interpreters are provided for visitors who do not sign. your student ambassador will provide you with general information about gallaudet and its academic programs, residential and commuter life, and extensive curricular and co-curricular activities.

ag贵宾厅the edward miner gallaudet residence ("house one") is a 35-room victorian gothic mansion. it was built in 1869 for edward miner gallaudet, the university's founder and first president. gallaudet's successors and their families have all lived in this home. tours are available from october to december and february to may, on the first friday of the month at 11:30 a.m. meet at the maguire welcome center, located in the lobby of the edward miner gallaudet memorial building (emg).

visitors may opt to walk around campus on their own. a walking tour pamphlet is available in the maguire welcome center. alternately, you can view our virtual tour on any electronic device.
